Paul Simon wrote that a long time ago in his Sounds of Silence. You may interpret it how you wish (that is what ART does, either words or pictures). I feel he was talking about when things get tough and you cannot see, other things take over for you, like sounds in that case. We can all find our own personal happiness and satisfaction no matter what cards we are dealt.
